In today's gospel, we have the scene on the road to Emmaus.  It gives us a glimpse into both Jesus' sense of humor and his great care for our faith. The downcast disciples didn't recognize Jesus when he joined them. When they asked him if he was the only person who had not heard what happened, he responded, "What sort of things?" (Don't you love it when you have the inside information?)
   Also, Jesus shows his care for the disciples' faith (and ours). He explains the scriptures to them and then celebrates the Eucharist for them - Word and Sacrament - exactly what we do at Mass. 
   Hopefully, we will be able to return soon to the celebration of Jesus' care for us. Until then, care for one another.
