Ask for prayers from friends and family for your last months of preparation before Confirmation
ADULTS & High School Students (10th - 12th grade)
Confirmation is the third Sacrament of Initiation (following Baptism and Eucharist). It is called Confirmation, because the faith given in Baptism is now confirmed and made strong...and means accepting responsibility for your faith and destiny.
St. Paul’s Church in Nampa is offering Confirmation Series for Adults beginning February 9
The series will consist 7 sessions. This series will be for adults who are baptized and not attending high school. The first session is mandatory and will be on February 9, at 6:30pm in the conference room at St. Paul's Church. Please contact St. Paul's parish office at 208-466-7031 to sign up for the series
ADULTS desiring the Sacrament of Confirmation should contact their Parish office, as each Parish Pastor may have similar or different requirements for Confirmation of adults and/or marriage preparation.
Requirements for Confirmation:
Be Baptized Catholic
Provide a copy of Baptismal Certificate (OLV requires a copy of baptismal certificate if the individual was not baptized at one of earlier churches that make up our current OLV Parish). If baptized here, then we need the date of baptism and birthday of the individual, as well as the names of both parents to research our records.
Have Received First Communion
Living as a single person (if single…cannot be cohabitating from the time instruction begins through Confirmation...and marriage within the church, if preparing for marriage). If married in another religion or civilly, there are other items to be addressed.
High School teens who are 16 or in 10th through 12th grade will be a part of the Igniter Program: Registration for the Igniter Program is now closed for 2018-19 school year.
