Today, we begin the holiest week of the church year. The COVID-10 virus has thrown the whole world for a loop. One of the most difficult aspects of this pandemic is that we are not able to see it. Much like sin, we know the virus is there, but because it is not visible, we are slow to respond to it.

In today's first gospel of the triumphal entry, the people shout, "Hosanna" (Save Us). Later, in the passion, they should, "Crucify him." Many of those people saw, and possible received, direct benefit frmo Jesus' miracles. Still, it didn't register to them. Hopefully for us, even though we will celebrate this Holy Week in our homes, it will sink im, and we will come to understand and appreciate more deeply all that our Lord did for us.
