Most of the time we cringe at the idea because it usually has a negative connotation. However, Paul is very clear about this. We determine how the judgments will go.
St. Robert Bellarmine wrote a short treatise on the art of dying well. His premise is very simple; If we live a good life, we will have a happy death. St. Paul’s message is similar: If we want to go to heaven, live a good life. As the saying goes, “We will have no one to blame, but ourselves."
