June 26, 2021It’s only my opinion, but I think the most important words to remember in Profession of the Faith are: “I believe” and “… for us and our salvation he came down from heaven.” In today’s second reading, St. Paul reminds the Corinthians of Jesus’ “gracious act” (his passion, death and Resurrection).
It is good for us to call to mind daily all that our Lord has done for us so we might be able to join him in heaven. If we are consistent in doing this, we will not stray far from his graces.
