March 27, 2021Today we begin the holiest week of the year. This is the week of our salvation. Since we know how the story ends, it is easy to lose the significance of all that took place “for us and for our salvation.”
We begin today’s liturgy with the people shouting, “Hosanna” (save us). Later, we will hear them shout, “Crucify him.” hopefully, Knowing how the story ends makes us more constant in our faith than the crowds that experienced these events almost 1,990 years ago. The only way to know if we truly understand, or not is by the way we live our lives.
