January 9, 2021Today we bring the joyful Christmas season to a close with celebration of our Lord’s baptism. As we know, Jesus didn’t need to be baptized. Just as with his birth, which we celebrated a little over two weeks ago, Jesus was baptized so that we would be able to share in his divine life.
Lest we think at times Jesus may not care about us remember he came from heaven for us and invites us to be his brothers and sisters. Next up: giving us his Body and Blood and suffering, dying and rising for our salvation (April 1-4).
