March 12, 2022“Master, it is good that we are here… he did not know what he was saying.” Poor Peter, once again he puts his foot in his mouth. Immediately after Jesus says what he will accomplish in Jerusalem, Peter says “ Let's stay here!” Although it is humorous coming from Peter, it is unfortunately all too true in our spiritual lives.
Peter was caught up in what he thought was best; Jesus had other plans. What may make perfect sense to us may not be the direction Jesus wants us to go. As Peter found out, it’s Jesus’ decision that counts. Hopefully, we learn that lesson sooner than later!
